Another 4 hours Stealing Tully’s Internet

Hello all. I figured it was a superb time for me to give you a more up-to-date update on my goings-on of late. I'm still living in Seattle and bussing tables at Tutta Bella. I work with some pretty amazing individuals. Be sure to check out my Picasa album for some pictures of work.

First, the more visible: I've done a ton of work to this website. (For those reading this via exported rss feed, facebook... check out http://www.geckoz.com to see what I'm talking about) That said, I'm still not completely done and have a few more features to add, including some improved formatting issues and and profile page.

We are also now using the Discus comment management system so it should be easier for you to leaves your thoughts directly on this site.

The important question is, why spend so much time on your blog, Travis? Well, as some of you may know, I've been accepted into the AmeriCorps NCCC program. I will be leaving for Sacramento on October 6th. This particular program will last 10 months and engage in everything from disaster relief and homeland security to tutoring programs and community building. I'm pretty excited about it, and want to share my excitement with all of you. Thus, I figured before I head out, I wanted to get my website in top-shape.

Like I said, I still have a bunch of things left to work on, but it seemed to be the perfect time to keep you posted on my progress. By all means, feel free to add comments or follow this site using RSS feeds. I personally use Google Reader to follow blogs, and love it. If you have a blog that you work on, please let me know. I'd love to know what you are up to as well!

  • Hey Traveeeiiiisss! I'm sure you realize by now that I've been stalking you online, what with Twitter and all. You think you'll be over in CDA before you head to Sacramento? I'd love to see you. Anyway, hugs to you from the old days.

That would be epic! I would love to hang out with you. I'll be leaving Seattle around the 20th of September. I'll be in Coeur d'Alene for a few weeks and leave on October 6th. Awesome. (And as far as the stalking thing goes, I make it pretty easy. I'm working on getting a gps tracker incorporated into this site. I'm pretty much every assassin's dream)
